Few other New England towns can rival Greenwich’s unique combination of lush green spaces, impressive mansions and stunning views of the Long Island Sound. Additionally, an exciting duality has blossomed in Greenwich in recent years between the “old world” multi-generational families and “new world” residents, creating an exciting cosmopolitan mix on Connecticut’s Gold Coast and producing a truly one-of-a-kind collective. The attorneys at Needle | Cuda offer results-oriented representation for Greenwich residents dealing with sensitive family law issues that arise in the extraordinary, high net worth community. Experienced in high net worth divorce, we work to safeguard our clients’ shares in sizeable estates and to ensure that children receive the support to which they are entitled.
Our firm’s attorneys and legal staff live, work and raise families in Fairfield County and have spent considerable time in Greenwich, enjoying the eateries on Greenwich Avenue and Sound Beach Avenue or taking our kids to play at Cardinal Stadium, Bruce Park or Havemeyer Field.
Firm Partner Alexander Cuda is a regular speaker and active volunteer with the Greenwich YMCA Domestic Abuse Services and their Civil Court Services Program. In fact, Alex was the 2020 recipient of the Greenwich YMCA’s Purple Ribbon Award for his Outstanding Commitment to the victims of domestic violence in Greenwich.
Attorney Needle and her husband Chris Lynch, Needle | Cuda’s General Manager, were married at the Greenwich Hyatt in 1993. Chris is also a native of Greenwich, CT (Cos Cob – Cat Rock Road – Old Stone Bridge – Bible Street) and a Graduate of Greenwich High School.
Growing up in Greenwich, Chris was a prolific youth football player. He was a North Mianus Cowboy, a Binney Bear and an Eastern Junior High School Gator. Chris served as the Co-Captain of the undefeated 1983 Greenwich Cardinal’s State Championship Team and New Haven Register 1983 All-State Defensive End. He was also co-captain of the 1983 Greenwich Cardinal’s Basketball Team. Chris continued on to play football at Princeton University.
Melissa and Chris remain very connected to Greenwich, both with relatives and many lifelong friends still living in town. They still love to hit Todd’s Point, anchor off Great Captain’s Island (or Little), the Greenwich Yacht Club Regatta, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Charity golf tournaments at the “Griff,” Scarpelli’s for Hot Italian Sausage, Rinaldi’s County Store on Orchard Street for a chicken parm wedge, Upper Crust Bagel in O.G. for a loaded Hot Bagel and a chat with Rob, The Plaza Diner for a Greek omelet, and grabbing quick slice from Glenville Pizza.
And, who doesn’t love their secret splurge at Lynnens, a fun night out with friends at Polpo or Valbella, a quiet romantic dinner in Belle Haven at the Homestead, St. Moritz’s Quiche and their crazy good Chocolate Mousse Cake?
